Sunrise Oats
A power breakfast of note! This healthy oatmeal is topped with stone fruits, pistachios and coconut shavings for a flavourful start to the day.

  • 160g wholegrain steel-cut or rolled oats
  • 500 – 750ml water
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 250ml oat or almond milk
  • Honey, to taste
  • 2 nectarines or seasonal stone fruit
  • 50g pistachios
  • Toasted coconut shavings, to serve

    Place the oats in a Le Creuset Toughened Non-Stick 16cm Saucepan. Add the water and salt and place over medium heat, stirring every few minutes.

    The oats will take 20 minutes to cook. Once cooked, add the oat/almond milk and honey to taste. Remove from the heat.

    Serve in Le Creuset Cereal Bowls topped with sliced nectarines, toasted coconut flakes, chopped pistachios, and extra honey if desired.
